First Social of 2025 – Ruam Thai Meal
Saturday 15th Feb 2023 was a very busy day in the club.
At midday there was a meeting of all the boats that are interested in doing the club Euro trip this year, if you could not attend but are interested in doing this trip, please contact the Rear Commodore who will pass it on to Lee Reeves.
After that meeting a little break was taken and a few members went out to check their boats on the moorings.
This was followed by a committee meeting, for those you have elected to run your club for the year.
The evening saw the first event and the start of the NFYC Social calendar of 2025.
After pre dinner drinks were partaken of, in the Royal Burnham yacht club, 16 of our Club members sat at a long table in the Thai Restaurant in Burnham.
A very good time was had by all.
The Commodore was turned to, as a waitress to take the orders, as this was the quickest way to get individual bills for all those that attended, a good job Janet did of this task with every one getting what they ordered,.
Janet I think you missed your calling in life.
Good hot food, good company, a very good evening had by all.
