Early season Boating Jumble 

 Saturday 15th April 2023 

Recycling and repurposing are environmentally sound ways to ensure all your unwanted sailing bits and bobs are used to their full potential while earning a few quid for the club! 

Kick off your season by moving on those pre-loved, but no longer needed, sailing and boating items. Or pick up a bargain from our large selection of pre-loved items that other members no longer have a use for. 

Itinerary for the day. 

10am to 1pm the clubhouse will be open to bring in and set out your items. 

1pm to 2pm sorting items and lunch break. 

2pm to 5pm boating jumble sale in clubhouse. 

How to sell your Items. 

Bring them along on the morning on the 15th April, spend some time socialising at the club and sell your items in the afternoon, with a minimum of 25% of the sale price going to the club. If you are unable to stay, or just want to donate the items to the club, a committee member will sell them on your behalf, with all proceeds going to the club. 

If you have items to donate but are unable to attend on the day please contact a committee member to arrange drop off at the clubhouse and we will sell them with proceeds going to the club. 

Even if you have no items to sell come along from 2pm and grab a bargain! Have a chat and a cup of tea or coffee and a slice of cake. 

Please let me know in advance what you intend to sell, with photographs where possible. In in the weeks prior to the jumble I will be sending photographs of selected items out via the clubs what’s app group. 

We anticipate a large selection of quality items will be for sale and have already been pledged items as diverse as a quality yacht spinnaker, an anchor and chain and various tools – so put the date in your diary and sort through that garage!
